Here, students will learn the skills needed to give captivating and refined oral presentations using effective speaking techniques. The curriculum includes crucial strategies for preparation, delivery, and managing questions following the presentation. Additionally, students will be taught how to create visual aids that can enhance the effectiveness of their presentations.

Program Objectives:

This program prepares you for the sometimes-stressful job-seeking process. Successful students will leave the program with the skills and confidence to navigate the hiring process confidently. These MicroDiploma credits may also be used for many of our Diploma programs.

Grading:

All MicroDiploma courses have different grading systems. For most, it is a combination of homework, assignments, quizzes and exams. Some course grading is 100% based on assignments or exams. An example of the breakdown is listed below.

  • Homework and Lab Assignments – 40%
  • Review Quizzes – 30%
    These will test your comprehension of course materials following each section of the course.
  • Knowledge Assessments – 30%
    An overall assessment of the course material, may consist of one or more exams.

4 weeks at 20 hours per week.
