Microsoft’s signature email platform, Outlook is the most common email platform and can be found in offices around the world. This program teaches some of the most common and most used functions of Outlook, ones used daily in an office environment. Students learn to use the program’s file management system, and how to edit text, format and print files received as part of incoming mail.

Whether you’re using Windows or Macintosh computers, this course teaches you how to format and manipulate Word documents through practical, hands-on training. You’ll gain the skills you need to navigate this program with ease and confidence.

Using a hands-on approach, students will learn the intricacies of creating a functional spreadsheet using Microsoft Excel. Learn through doing by employing skill-based simulations creates a working understanding of the platform’s complexity while teaching its core features. You will learn to input and format data then create the formulas to shape that data into usable information.
With the data housed within the spreadsheet you make; you will also learn to create a variety of different charts and graphs to best illustrate your findings. Like Word and Outlook, knowing how to use Excel is vital to securing a position in an office environment.
