192.4 Operational Exploration

This course introduces students to the elements associated with oil & gas operations, and the science behind exploration for today’s materials. Topics include: material science and its link to the earth’s materials, exploratory methods such as drilling, the environmental impacts of exploration, the history of drilling, and the safe operations involved in drilling for materials, amongst others.
