The payroll course will provide students with an understanding of payroll legislation in Canada, the framework for accurately paying employees, and making employer and employee remittances to the Canada Revenue Agency. Topics include: payroll fundamentals, deduction calculations, legislation and compliance, communication of accurate payroll information, and policies and procedures required for effective business decision making.
