Course Overview
In this course, students will develop the essential skills to conduct successful interviewing and counselling sessions. Throughout the course, students will analyze the important of ethics, values, and self-awareness; the skills, process, and pitfalls of counselling, and the evidence-based treatment approach for motivating clients. Students will also examine the Canadian health and social services structures which further define the uniqueness of the Canadian Counselling environment.
