  • Apply different methods (FIFO-periodic, weighted average, specific identification) to calculate the cost of goods sold and merchandise inventory
  • Understand the principles of internal control and its practical application
  • Describe accounts receivable, including their occurrence and recording
  • Explore the allowance method, turnover, and days’ sales uncollected for effective management
  • Explain, record, and calculate depreciation using straight-line methods, units-of-production, double-declining-balance, partial-year depreciation, revised depreciation, and impairment losses
