Program Objectives:

The objective of this module course in Supply Chain Fundamentals is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key elements that drive successful supply chain management. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, students will develop a solid foundation in the various business strategies, processing technology types, organizational structures, and material sources that are essential to the supply chain process. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge necessary to make decisions related to the supply chain field and will be prepared to implement effective practices in a business setting. Successful completion of this course counts as credit toward a Supply Chain Management MicroDiploma or Diploma.  

Grading:

  • 30% Homework – Review each chapter covered.
  • 30% Quizzes – These will test your comprehension of the course material.
  • 40% Final Exams – One exam following the course.

A frequent speaker at professional meetings, Dr. Monczka has published more than 200 books and articles. Roy Lewicki: Dean’s Distinguished Teaching Professor and Professor of Management and Human Resources at the Max. M. Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. He has authored or edited 24 books, as well as numerous research articles. He has served as the president of the International Association of Conflict Management.
